Christian History

I was born and raised in Argentina where I grew up in a Christian home. My parents were Pastors of a Church at the time and I was blessed to have been brought up in an environment where living in faith was a daily occurrence for our family. I remember as a child that I understood I needed to be saved and I was led to the Lord by my sisters. I have been extremely blessed by God in that He has allowed me to walk in His footsteps throughout my whole life without too many pitfalls.

Bethlehem Baptist Involvement

I have been at BBC since 2010 and have been involved as an elder in the past from 2015 to 2022, due to work commitments in Wellington in 2022 I could no longer meet the necessary requirements to do the role of an elder and I had to stop serving in that capacity.

Family

When it comes to my wife, God was very kind to me! I am married to the most incredible woman in the world and I give thanks to God for her every day. We are both from Argentina and our Latin culture is a big part of how we view family and hospitality, so our friends and extended family are very important to us. Yanil is very much involved in prayer ministry and works as a Family Councilor. We are blessed with two children: Katie (21) and Tomas (18). Both will be attending university next year, Katie doing her masters in Architecture and Tomas studying Physics. We give thanks for their own faith and love of God and seeing them mature as Christians is all a parent can ask for. Needless to say we are very proud of them.

Employment History

Most of my career I have worked in marketing with multinational companies overseas, mainly in Latin America and the USA. Since we have been in New Zealand I have started to gain more experience in governance, with roles on various boards and participating in courses through the Institute of Directors. In the past ten years I have been the CEO of various construction companies and this year I started out on a new adventure of setting up my own construction company specialising in modular buildings.
