As we enter Level 2 of lockdown, just a reminder of what that means for us at BBC. The church campus will remain closed and we will continue live streaming our 9:00 a.m. Sunday services and providing kids programmes online.
We encourage our Life Groups to start meeting together in person whenever you feel comfortable doing so. Your own home is free from restrictions. However, we see it wise to keep a record of who’s been present. If you don’t feel comfortable meeting in this way, meet online via Zoom or other online software. This has been a really encouraging place of contact for many.
Other midweek ministries will be advised about start updates as we know what’s permissible. Stay tuned to hear from those individual ministry leaders.
We have a few more options up our sleeves to creatively meet together during this Level 2 alert. Which we’ll release as we know more about how long this lockdown will be.
Meanwhile, remember how the Lord encouraged Joshua and the people of God during a time of change. They were living in the inbetween about to cross over the river Jordan into their promised land. Joshua told the people:
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1: 9.
Please remember that your church family is here to call upon and lean upon if you need any support. We’ll have some of our staff working at the church from Wednesday to respond to your needs. So let’s remember to be linked together in prayer. We’ll keep you updated as more information comes to us.
Yours in Christ, Pastor Craig.
